This was expected; PC gamers will have to wait until Rockstar releases the game on the PC platform.
Games are generally released with priority for consoles, while PC players sometimes have to wait quite a long time before they get access.
If we look at the previous rockstar games, such as GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, PC players had to wait more than a year for the PC version of the games. Here’s what the earnings reports said
“This calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for [the company], as we plan to launch Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 on 11th February, Mafia: The Old Country in the summer, Grand Theft Auto 6 in the Fall, and Borderlands 4.”
Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two CEO, talking to IGN, said “Look, there’s always a risk of slippage and I think as soon as you say words like absolutely, you jinx things,” Zelnick responded when IGN asked how confident he was that Rockstar will hit fall 2025 for GTA 6. “So we feel really good about it.”
Talking about he game’s development he further added,
“Look, I think the game is eagerly anticipated both internally and externally,” he said. “We know that Rockstar seeks perfection. I never claim success before it occurs. I’m fond of saying arrogance is the enemy of continued success, so we’re all running scared and looking over our shoulders and we know that the competition is not asleep. Our whole organization is super excited.”
When is GTA 6 coming out?
Initially revealed in December 2023, GTA 6 has seen several delays, but gamers around the globe are calm at the moment as GTA 6 is still expected to be released in autumn 2025, which roughly means from September to November for the console ofc.
Some tweets on X Fans are eagerly waiting for Rockstar to release a second trailer for the game, as it has been long enough, and the release date is approaching.
Who can play first?
As per Gaming Bible, The game will be available to the latest gen consoles, which means the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and series S. Players with older consoles, such as the PlayStation 4, won’t be getting the game.
