Let’s get one thing straight: the Hero Set is buried in the darkest pits of the depths. To get it, you don’t need an Amiibo, pr any prayer to RNG. You just need a Hoverbike, a map that actually works, and some large brightbloom seeds.

1986 Retro-Modern Combat Meta 

Before we get to the article, here’s why you are getting this set in 2026. The meta has shifted towards thematic builds. Also, if you happen to equip the full Hero Set with a Light Dragon Horn to your master sword, it recreates the visual of the white sword from the original NES game.

Not only does this look legendary, but the Light dragon fusion will provide you with healing in every hit, effectively giving the 8-bit link (invincibility frames) as long as you keep swinging. It is the highest-tier Fashion Souls move in Hyrule.

The Speedrun Route: 3 Pieces, One Chasm Run

Don’t waste time jumping in and out of the different chasms; we are going to do this in a specialized manner.

1. Tunic of the Hero (The Core)

Chasm Entry: East Hill Chasm (Kakariko Village).

Coordinates: 1285, -1812, -0784

The Drop: In the exact location, jump into the abyss and glide towards the southwest. You’re searching for the Dueling Canyons Mine.

Tip: If you happen to have the Sohse Lightroot unlocked, then just fast travel there and look for the stone altar in the center of the george. No bosses, no mobs, just open the chest and claim your green tunic.

2. Cap of the Hero (The Crown)

Coordinates: 2520, -3600, -0625

The Route: From the Tnuic location, you need to hop on your hoverbike and head southwest towards the Lurelin region depths. You are searching for the Tuft Canyon Mine (which is directly beneath Tuft Mountain). 

The crown is hidden in a deep depression near the Mimufis Lightroot, and search for the glowing chest on the central platform.

3. Trousers of the Hero (The Finish)

Coordinates: -3820, -1980, -0632

The Route: Teleport to the Worihas Lightroot (which is underneath the Hebra/Hyrule Ridge border). If you’ve not been here before, then drop through the Hyrule Field Chasm and head Northwest.

The chest is hidden in the Corvash Canyon Mine. It’s a steep climb down, so watch your stamina or just paraglide into the center of the structure.

Grind to Update

To get that Attack Up set bonus and 60 total defense, you’re going to need to farm some rare mats.

Pro-Farming Secret: If you want to max out this set fast, then don’t hunt Rubies in caves. Farm Rare Stone Talus in Eldinregion or head to the Depths Fire Coliseum. For Star Fragments, don’t forget the 2026 Sky-Dive trick: Launch from any Skyview Tower at night and dive; a Star Fragment is scripted to spawn in the air near you once per night cycle.
