Blood Merlot Crafting Guide & its Use in V Rising
To unlock the Blood Merlot, you’ll have to head to the Brighthaven Vineyards in Silverlight Hills. When reaching there, you’ll have to battle a level 70 Blood Boss named Baron du Bouchon the Sommelier. To defeat him, we recommend you to level up higher than him. And if you defeat him, you’ll unlock the Blood Merlot Recipe. And also have access to Barrel Disguise Recipe, the Sanguine Coil ability, and the Blood Merlot Amulet.
To craft Blood Merlot, you’ll need Sacred Grapes and an empty glass bottle. However, to gather Sacred Grapes, you’ll have to linger in the Brighthaven Vineyards until you find 60x Sacred Grapes and also have an eye out for harpies that linger around in the area. So fight them and have your grapes. Also, if you don’t have an empty glass bottle, use 4x glass at the Alchemy table to have one in order to craft the Blood Merlot.
To use the Blood Merlot in V Rising, you can tap a prisoner on blood which will cost you from 25% to 50% of your health and also an increase in misery by 3% to 15%. The Blood Merlot Amulet that you obtained while defeating Baron du Bouchon the Sommelier will grant you a +23 Spell Power and a +15% reduced Blood Drain rate.
