Apple Watch Stuck on Apple Logo? Here’s The Fix

By Abhishek | January 9, 2024

Apple watch stuck on Apple Logo? It is a very common problem which is very likely to occur with your Apple watch, especially if it’s an older watch, you can consider watch series 3.

Very often I’ve seen people just leave their Apple watch to rest forever after it is stuck with the Apple logo issue, but there are high chances that it can be fixed very very easily on your own.

What causes the issue? (especially for older watch series)

Just like any other compact device, even an Apple watch can run into problems, or say OS related problems to be more precise! Luckily there’s more than a single fix for your old Apple Watch.

Here’s how you can fix it!

A hard reset can fix most devices running an OS, although it can look like a very generic way of fixing devices, trust me, it has worked wonders for many!

Here’s how TO Force Reboot!

Make sure your watch has enough power.

Now once press the digital crown, then hold it for around 30-35 seconds.

This will trigger the boot sequence of the watch, even if you’ve no control over settings, this will aggressively force the watch to start the boot sequence.

After the screen goes black, wait for a few seconds and be patient, let it start up.

Typically it should be fixed, if it still persists, then follow the steps below!

Unpair Your Watch

Unpair your Apple watch with your iPhone, then once again repeat the forced reboot method.

Open the Watch App on your iPhone.

Click on My Watches, and Click Unpair Apple Watch.

This should bring your watch back to life.

If the problem still persists, then follow the steps below.

Find My Device Option

Use the Find my option to fix your watch, here’s how to do it!

Open the Find my option on your iPhone, and click on devices.

Click on your Apple Watch, and tap on play sound to make it ring.

After your watch rings for around 36 seconds or more, stop the play sound.

Now your watch should be back to its normal state. (Worked for many)

I know how strange this fix sounds, but it is a very much practical and tested method.

Watch Still not fixed?

Test With a Different Cable

Consider charging it with a new or other charging cable. Very often a partially damaged charger cable doesn’t provide enough power for the device to start.

There is a high chance a simple replacement of the cable can fix this irritating issue for you.

Once you use a different cable to charge your watch, let it charge for some time, and observe if it boots normally to its original state.

or

You can try draining your watch battery to zero till it switches off, then charge it and power it on, very often this fixes the loop and boots the watch to its normal state.
