Instagram is reportedly testing out a Desktop feature that will allow you to create Instagram posts from your Desktop. Currently, you can view posts on a desktop machine, but you technically can’t create one. Very soon you will be able to do this straight from your desktop screen. This was a very much-awaited feature, especially for those who spend most of the time with a computer rather than a smartphone.

And just as you’d expect, you can drag and drop images from your computer, edit them, add filters, crop, and all other things that a smartphone is capable of. But, don’t expect this feature to be dropping off next month, there is still time for its availability. Currently, it is being tested internally, even though it looks very much ready through the screenshots.

The mobile-focused application is all set to take on big bulky desktops. We still aren’t sure of its other features such as Reels, story creation and their availability for Desktops.
