If you’re getting the Grav Jump Pending message then it means that you haven’t put any power into it. You actually need to allocate power into the Grav system through the system’s power level settings to perform the grav jump. The system’s power level is located at the bottom left of the screen. To highlight the grav system, you need to press Alt+A/D on your keyboard or press the D-pad on your controller. After that press W on your keyboard or Up button on your controller to allocate power into it.

If you don’t have enough power, then you will have to release it from other systems, like the Ballistic Missiles and lasers etc. To release power you need to press the S on your keyboard and Down button on your controller. After that put that power into the grav system. Now, Once you’re done with that, you should be able to use the Grav jump.
