Google has finally decided to launch their very best and latest Pixel smartphones, the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. And just as expected, this anticipated device comes with Google’s very own Tensor SOC. Both of the devices are available for pre-order and will be available for sale, starting 28th October.
Both variants are IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins), and support Nano-SIM and/or eSIM. Both the variants will run Android 12 out of the box. The Google Pixel 6 pricing starts from $599 (Rs 44,800), while the Pro variant starts from $899 (Rs 67,200).
Google Pixel 6
The Google Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED 90Hz display, which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, it features a Google Tensor (5nm) Chipset, that’s coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the rear, it features a dual-camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. While on the front, it features an 8MP selfie camera.
Talking about other specifications, it supports USB Type-C 3.1, and an under-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by a Li-Po 4614 mAh battery, which supports 30W fast charging (wired), and 21W fast charging (wireless).
Google Pixel 6 Pro
The Google Pixel 6 Pro features a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED, 120Hz display, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It features the same Tensor (5nm) Chipset, just like the base variant. The device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the back, it houses a triple-camera setup, which has a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it features an 11.1MP selfie camera.
Other specifications include an under-screen optical fingerprint scanner, and USB Type-C 3.1. The Pro variant is powered by a Li-Po 5003 mAh battery, which supports up to 30W wired fast charging, and 23W wireless charging.
