Apple iPhone 17 vs iPhone 17 Pro: Here’s all the leaked rumors we know

Like every year, Apple is set to release the new iPhone and its variants by September; although there’s not much official data, there are numerous leaks that could potentially be true about the new iPhone.

As per the leaks, iPhone 17 will house the A18 chip, the same as its predecessor, which could upset some fans who were expecting the latest processor in standard variants. When it comes to the memory part, the standard device is said to come with 8 GB RAM, which is the same as the previous 16 series.

Although it is expected to come with a slightly bigger display of 6.3-inch, whereas its predecessor comes with a 6.1-inch display.

Here are the specification rumors

For users interested in the Pro, Pro Max, and Air variants, these offer 12 GB of RAM along with an Apple A19 processor, which is the fastest processor in an iPhone at present.

While there’s not much information available right now, the base variant of the phone is said to house the same 48MP camera on the rear; for the first time, it could feature a 32MP camera on the front, which could be a good change and a significant upgrade for all models if this happens to be true.

While there are so many rumors about the new device, one rumor that has got users thinking is that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be very thick or, say, the thickest iPhone ever to exist. Some leaks suggest that this change could mean that Apple is adding a vapor chamber for better cooling of the device so that it can be used for long hours without thermal throttling. But it is yet to be confirmed at all. The new model boasts a thicker design than the previous iPhone line-ups, or it could also come in handy to pack a bigger battery for the Pro Max models.

Here’s a dummy lookalike of the device

A mock-up video released by leaker Majin Bu shows how the new iPhone could actually look in hands. The 30-second video shows a dummy iPhone 17 Pro from different angles and how it would look hand-held.

Although it is common for tipsters to come up with dummy devices before the actual device releases, and very often, the dummies are almost similar to the released official device.

As per David Phelan, Forbes, if the mock-up is a true lookalike of the new iPhone, then the only difference between it is the SIM tray, as American iPhones come with a mmWave antenna lozenge.
