Glorious recently released its latest Model D Wireless gaming mouse, and many are wondering if it is a good investment in 2023. As a tech reviewer for TechTweek/TechArena, I have been sent the Model D Wireless and the Latest GMMK 2 Mechanical gaming keyboard for review. In this article, I will be discussing the Model D Wireless in detail, as well as providing a comparison to other gaming mice.
First, let’s take a look at the mouse itself. The Glorious Model D Wireless weighs 69g, which is lighter than other popular gaming mice like the Razer Viper Ultimate. The honeycomb perforations contribute to the lighter weight, while the build quality remains robust.
Glorious Model D Wireless Review
Features
The overall shape of the mouse is ergonomic and designed strictly for right-handed users. However, Glorious offers the Model O wired or wireless, which is ambidextrous, and suitable for left and right-handed users. This mouse is adorned with an impressive amount of RGB, which is very bright.
The proprietary BAMF Sensor, which is made in collaboration with Pixart, provides pinpoint precision with its 400 IPS tracking speed, up to 19,000 DPI, and 1000Hz polling rate. This sensor is incredibly accurate and fast, making it perfect for gaming, especially for esports titles. The Glorious Model D Wireless is available in matte white and matte black colors.
In terms of battery life, this mouse can last up to 71 hours on a single charge with the RGB turned off. When the RGB is on, the battery life will be reduced. The Glorious Model D Wireless has a USB-C port for charging or for use in wired mode.
The mouse also comes with a flexible USB-C Ascended charging cable, which reduces the drag of the cable when the mouse is in wired mode. The USB Extender Dongle is included in the box for keeping the USB receiver close to the desk or the mouse.
This mouse has six programmable buttons, with the main left and right buttons rated for 80Mn clicks, which is a step up from the Glorious Model O wireless. The buttons are customizable using the Glorious Core software, where users can change the RGB effects as well.

The mouse feet are made of 100% pure virgin PTFE composition, which provides smooth movement across the mousepad. Additional larger G-Skates are included in the box for a more comprehensive PTFE surface for maximum glide.
The Glorious Model D Wireless is designed for medium to large hand sizes, and for those with smaller hands, the Model D- is available, which is smaller and lighter. Comparing this mouse to the Razer Viper Ultimate, the Glorious Model D Wireless is an ergonomic right-handed mouse, whereas the Razer Viper Ultimate is an ambidextrous mouse. The PTFE feet of the Model D are smoother than those of the Razer, and the Model D has mechanical switches that many users find more appealing.
In conclusion
The Glorious Model D Wireless is an excellent gaming mouse that is relatively affordable. The mouse is lightweight, has top-notch build quality, and includes USB C charging, a lot of RGB, and one of the best sensors on the market. It’s perfect for those who value comfort, accuracy, and customization options.
