How to Unlock & use Prescriptions in The Outlast Trials?
Unlike the other games of the Outlast Franchise, the Outlast Trials has many new features in the game like using of amps, etc. The use of prescriptions will help you in the Trials of the game that will increase your physical and mental abilities. You can get Prescriptions (Rx) from Nurse Barlow and they will give a permanent buff in the game. Ain’t that good?
Who is Nurse Barlow?
Barlow is the in-game pharmacist that will help you receive permanent buffs through the Trials. She has the Prescriptions (Neuron and Organ upgrades) approved by Dr. Easterman which will help you out in your therapy.
However, to get the Prescriptions, you’ll need to reach therapy level 3 and then talk to Barlow and buy them. This way you could track your XP and level up and gain more XP and reach your therapy level higher. You can check it at the central terminal in the facility.
There are enough prescriptions in Outlast Trials for you to have. There are a total of 16 Prescriptions which are split into two Tiers: In Tier 1, you’ll have 7 prescriptions and In Tier 2, you’ll get 9 prescriptions. You’ll have to progress level up, talk with Barlow and collect these Prescriptions to level up your game.
However, the closed Beta had nearly 24 Prescriptions or Meds divided into 2 categories: Neuro and Stim Meds which are further divided into 3 Tiers.
