Unlock Active Duty Operator slots in Call of Duty DMZ

Call of Duty DMZ Players now have more options for their deployments with the new Active Duty Operator Slots feature in season 3. This feature allows the Players to access at least three different loadouts when deploying, providing them with more control over what they risk when entering the game.

Each Active Duty slot comes with a unique loadout of persistent items that include a backpack, killstreak, armor vest, gas mask, and self-revive kit. Additionally, each slot has its own active exfil streak. By default, the Players have access to three slots, but they can purchase a fourth if desired. If the Players successfully exfil with their items, they will stay with that specific Active Duty operator.

How to Unlock the Active Duty Operator Slots?

To unlock the Active Duty operator slots, the Players simply need to load into DMZ for the first time. Any saved persistent items will automatically apply to their first slot. To access the other slots, the Players can hover over their operator on the Active Duty page under the DMZ lobby and select “Swap.”

The fourth slot, however, is locked behind a paywall. The Players will need to purchase the Bomb Squad bundle for 1,200 CoD Points. This bundle includes the Fender skin, which comes with its own medium backpack upgrade, and the Boom Proof light machine gun blueprint with a 15-minute insured weapon cooldown.

The Players have the option to utilise the Active Duty operator slots by customising their loadouts with insured or contraband weapons, equipment, keys, and keycards on the designated page. They can also choose from different skins for the specific operator that is not currently in use.

It’s important to note that changing the operator assigned to a slot will result in the resetting of all persistent gear and exfil streak. Furthermore, it’s not possible to transfer persistent gear to another Active Duty operator slot.
