Tired of Saying, Hey Siri? How About Just “Siri”

Are you tired of saying Hey Siri to fire up your iPhone voice Assistant every time? Or I suppose it is starting to sound very mainstream, eh? Worry not, as Apple Engineers are working on it to raise its criterion.

According to a Bloomberg Power On Newsletter report, soon you will not need to say “Hey Siri” to fire up the voice assistant, Saying Siri will do, followed by your command!

Even though it seems peculiarly easy to implement, it requires a lot of AI training and engineering work to do so. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also mentions that it would be coming out in 2024, as I’ve mentioned, it is not as easy as how it seems to be!

For now, Apple has been testing this change with its employees and taking on the necessary reviews for consideration.

Also, apart from this, you can expect better integration of AI Assistant with third-party applications, in easy words, Siri is just getting better. Soon you will be able to do more with just your commands over third-party applications.
