Bruno:
Bruno often sneaks around if he is considered to play solo. The innate skills of Bruno have been focused on being quick and lethal and all slayers are basically come up with their two innate skills. For being a backstab character, Bruno gets a moderate damage boost when attacking zombies from behind. It’s quite easier when playing co-op. His other skill is Rapid Reprisal which increases the agility and heavy attack charges of Bruno when he dodges and blocks.
Amy:
Amy often comes to ranged combat. She has the lowest toughness attribute, unlike the other slayers. Amy’s two innate skills often help her in ranged combat. Relief Pitcher helps Amy regains Stamina when hitting zombies with a weapon throw. While Divide and Conquer help Amy in getting a Minor Damage Boost when she attacks isolated zombies.
Carla:
Carla can withstand a lot of the elemental damage. Unlike the other slayers, Carla lacks in dealing with critical damage. Her two innate skills help her to deal massive damage to zombie hoards. Her two innate skills, one, Mosh Pit which gives Carla a Minor Damage Boost when close to multiple zombies, and, two, Dig Deep skill gives Carla a moderate toughness boost while her health is critical.
Jacob:
As we have already seen on the front cover of Dead Island 2, Jacob is the most favoured option to play with in the game. Jacob has the least Resilience, unlike the other slayers of the game. Jacob’s innate skills: Feral, which gives him a minor damage boost when attacking in quick succession, and, Critical Gains. When Jacob deals critical hits in low stamina, he gets a moderate critical damage boost and regains Stamina.
Dani:
Unlike Jacob, Dani has the highest stamina stats out of all the slayers. But she has the least health recovery stat. Dani innate skills are Thunderstruck and Bloodlust. When Dani deals heavy attacks, she’ll trigger a forceful explosion on impact, and Bloodlust regains her health when slaying multiple zombies in quick succession
Ryan:
Ryan is a great option to keep a player alive in the game. He has the greatest toughness stat and the least agility stat. Ryan is only made stronger with his innate skills, Retaliation and Seesaw. Retaliation gives Ryan a moderate force boost when he dodges and blocks attacks and Seesaw regains his health each time he knocks down a zombie.
