Samsung Galaxy s23 and Above To Feature Snapdragon Chipset Globally

In its fiscal year earnings call, Qualcomm recently announced that it would be powering a wide range of Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the flagship ones.

It was already in the talks, and Qualcomm just confirmed it. Here’s what the Qualcomm CEO said about the announcement “It’s a multi-year agreement. And that’s probably what I can tell you. You should think about us powering their devices globally“.

The multi-year agreement includes the Galaxy S23 series and beyond. The previous Galaxy S22 series had only 25% models with the Exynos inside, while 75% were globally available with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.



Also, the firm further said that the agreement also includes a patent license deal for 3G, 4G, 5G, and 6G technologies.

After this recent agreement, the availability of Snapdragon-powered devices could be much more than before, meaning the most and best Samsung devices could come with a Snapdragon processor.
