How to change your profile photo across Google apps?

Sometimes it really gets annoying seeing the same profile picture on every Google app, changing your profile picture for all of your Google apps could be quite complex. But, there’s also a shortcut for that, that’s through the Google Contacts app/web. It’s funny that the need for this feature wasn’t actually felt until now when it is here. Changing the profile picture traditionally has a really tricky way, where you have to navigate through settings to get this small but complex job done.

Steps to change your profile picture

Here’s how to change your profile picture on the app.

  • Open the Google Contacts App.
  • Click on your photo in the top right corner.
  • Press on change, select your picture.
  • Crop & adjust it how it should look.
  • Tap save profile picture, click on Got it.

If it isn’t available on your device, you can use a PC to do the same job, here’s how!

  • Open your browser, sign in to your Google account.
  • On the address bar, enter contacts.google.com and hit enter.
  • Now click on your profile photo, choose your photo.
  • Press Set as Profile picture and it’s done.

Now you can update your profile picture without going the hard way, thanks to Google Contacts. Many also claim that the feature was even available many months back.
