Here’s What We Know About The Google Tensor G2 Processor

Google’s very own Processor, the Google Tensor has succeeded in winning people’s trust, and hence, here comes the new Google Tensor G2 processor.

Developer Kuba Wojciechowski just took to Twitter to announce what he had noticed about the new Tensor G2 chip.

But, do not expect a major update! The tweet says that the Tensor G2 has two Cortex X1 cores, just like the Tensor 1, it also features two middle cortex A-76 cores and four cortex A-55 cores.

Talking about the speeds, the X1 CPU cores can go up to 2.85 GHz, while the middle cores can go up to 2.35 GHz. Also, the new design is based on 4nm, while the previous Tensor was built on 5mm architecture.

The Tensor G2 now comes with the Mali-G710 GPU, which is generally seen with the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 processor.
