Other than health and fitness monitoring, the wearable will also feature cellular connectivity and it would primarily focus on Facebook’s messaging services of course. While you use the wearable, you will be able to connect it with third-party apps like Peleton. Including the health and fitness features, the smartwatch would surely be a competitor for other popular smartwatch manufacturers.
Facebook was already looking forward to buy Fitbit, before Google took it over. According to sources, the watch might not be an expensive one, it is said to cost just a little bit more than its unit cost of production. Unlike previous projects, if Facebook continues with its wearable, you could see it on sale by next year.
