What does it look like?

After you open the application, you’ll be greeted with 6 big buttons which include Record, Capture, Resize, Open, Codecs, and Sound.

  • The first Icon is the Record button.
  • The next icon is Capture. Capture is a very important feature that is used to take a screenshot while you are recording. It even takes a screenshot when you are not recording as well.
  • The third icon is resize. This is used to resize the recording area and this is important if you want to record a specific window or the whole screen or a specific region based upon your need.
  • The fourth icon is open, this just opens up the location where you have recorded your videos earlier, even though this feature is not a major one, but it is necessary and it saves time.
  • The fifth icon is Codecs. Here you can choose different types of codecs that are available here. If you don’t know much about which codec to use and what not to use then choose auto-select that’s it.
  • And the last button is the sound button, here you can choose whether you want the system audio to be recorded or if you want the PC’s microphone or any external microphone to record audio along with the video.

There are also some tabs on top, which include a menu, screen recording, game recording, and audio recording. Yes, you can also use oCam to record your gameplay footage as well. Now if we go to the menu and then options, there you can see a number of settings that you can tweak. Here’s the video review.
