Another Dirt Cheap OnePlus Device Is Exclusively Coming To India

Yes, you’ve heard that damn right! OnePlus is preparing the cheapest 5G budget phone, which is exclusively an India-first release. But, will it get its place in the Indian Market? Where OnePlus is mostly chosen for its camera properties, while this upcoming budget phone might not be an epic performer in that segment.

According to Leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer and Smartprix, the upcoming device is named OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is a budget phone, which packs decent internals, along with 5G support. A “Lite” version of a budget device is very close to Low-end devices, but this one still features 5G!

Talking about the specs, underneath the 6.59-inch FHD Fluid Display, there lies a Snapdragon 695 5G SOC, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of (presumably) UFS 3.1 storage. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, which is okay! considering it is a “lite” version of an already cheap budget-friendly device.

On the back, the phone features a triple camera setup, which consists of a 64MP primary sensor, and two 2MP sensors. While on the front, it packs a 16MP single camera for selfies.

What to expect ?

Well, as it’s a “lite” version of an already cheap budget device, it could actually perform better than other Low-end smartphones, such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note series, various (Oppo Owned) Realme devices. Another good thing is that it still supports 5G, so yeah! it could be a decent extra cheap budget-friendly 5G phone. But if the camera is your priority, then it will surely disappoint you.
